Lodging in San Miguel de Allende

SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE HOTELS and ACCOMMODATIONS: From time to time we have taken advantage of at least two of San Miguel's hotels. We go there either for Visa issues or to gather data for the articles we write. We've had excellent experiences so far in the hotels but then we are not picky.

Staying in a hotel is not a bad idea even if you are planning a day trip to check out the SMA sights. If what you want is a full-blown day trip from Guanajuato then try staying in a hotel at least overnight so you can spend time scouting about the San Miguel and not having to worry about travel time, checking in and out, packing, etc...
