H-E-L-PAre you coming to Guanajuato for vacation or perhaps for a reconnaissance mission to check out the city for possible expatriation? No matter the reason, if you need help checking out a place to stay, we can help you. We get loads of emails from our web site asking us about locations of hotels and apartments in Guanajuato. So, we thought we could offer a small service for a small fee that would help you determine where you would spend your vacation, your time studying Spanish, or living in an apartment for an extended period of time. There are definite things we will do for you and there are things we will definitely NOT do for you. WHAT WE WILL DO Evaluate the hotel or apartment location: 1. Noise levels at night—whether you will be able to sleep while the party, traffic, roof dogs, fireworks, and so forth go on at night at the decibel level of hydrogen bombs exploding! 2. Cleanliness 3. Whether bedding, towels, kitchen and dining supplies are provided 4. Parking 5. Relative Safety for a car as well as for yourself 6. Distance from your accommodations to "El Centro" (downtown). 7. Find a bilingual guide's email address or telephone number should you need this service – Guanajuato is NOT a gringo resort and consequently English is NOT widely spoken. We will supply you with the names of up to three bilingual guides. It will be up to you to contact these guides to make arrangements to meet. WHAT WE WILL NOT DO 1. Guarantee Anything – We will evaluate your apartment or hotel based on our five years of experience in the city of Guanajuato and what we know and "have heard" from the locals about the location you will be staying. We cannot guarantee an incident-free stay. 2. Make Reservations – Under no circumstances will we secure reservations, confirm them, or act as interpreters or translators. 3. Schools – We will not check out primary or secondary schools for your children. 4. We will not secure references from potential landlords – BUYER BEWARE!! (If we do happen to know by personal experience or rumor that an area or property warrants caution, we will tell you.) FEES 1. Three Locations – We will evaluate a combination of three hotels or apartments - $25.00 2. Seven Locations – We will evaluate a combination of seven hotels or apartments - $50.00 3. Ten Locations – We will evaluate a combination of ten hotels or apartments - $100.00 A written report will be emailed to you.
All fees are to be paid in advance – NO EXCEPTIONS!
NOTE:After your payment is received and processed I will email you asking which hotels/apartments you want evaluated.
