GRINGOLANDIAN'S RANTING AND RAGINGGringolandian's Rants and Rages Page is finally up and running. I had been waiting so long for someone to write into my site's comment's page and let me have it that I had almost given up hope. After all, I am The Most Hated Gringo in the World according to all the fan mail I have received over the past 6 years I have been writing and I must keep up my hard earned reputation, don't you think?So, why do I do it? More importantly, why am I throwing up a special web page devoted to vile and contemptible responses I get from my fans in San Miguel de Allende. I mean, why go to the trouble? The simple reason is that I want those plotting a move to Mexico, to Gringolandia specifically, to see the caliber of the American Cultural Imperialist who live there. The poor things, apparent from their colorful use of language and the too often death threats, are intellectually challenged but even more importantly, SOCIALLY CHALLENGED. One in five Americans suffer from PERSONALITY DISORDERS that are so severe so as to warrant a psychiatric diagnosis and treatment. In those groups the mental illness is compounded in that alcohol and drug is rampant in that 1 in 5 group. You just have to wonder, for example in the person quoted here, just how many of that "one in five" moves to Mexico under the guise of "Expatriation". Regardless, here is the very first Ranting and Raging Gringolandian letting me have it right between the eyes...ENJOY!

Mark Rages: There are no where near tens of thousands of expatriates living in Mexico who have purchased properties by using what we call in the states a "straw man". I have lived in San Miguel since 1998 and spent a majority of my time in SMA during the 1990's. I ponder... Just what is the point of this paragraph? What does the amount of time you've lived or not live in SMA have to do with anything? Is this a logical fallacy in which you make a Fallacious Appeal to Authority? Maybe it is Ad Misericordiam? Mark Goes on to Embarrass Himself: Most "gringos" use a "Notorio" to purchase property in Mexico. Only very stupid people like youself attempt to save money by bying direct from a Mexican (whom you seem to portray as evil people who will screw an American over at every chance)!You seem to want no one else from out of the country moving to Mexico and especially Guanajuato. What's wrong with you? You are a greedy, negative person! I wish you would shut up and quit giving people such a negative bunch of BS about Mexico...and San Miguel de Allende in particular! Doug Sighs: Mark, Mark, Mark...Here is where you've lost the argument and which is my very point in almost everything I've ever written about you Cultural Imperialists in Mexico. Your silly and childish "Appeal to Ridicule" is a fallacy in which ridicule or mockery is substituted for evidence in an "argument." You resorting to name calling is so typical of the Cultural Imperialistic ilk. Sorry, but it is what I've come to expect.
