All the books listed on this entire website reflect an entirely different Expatriation Philosophy. The vast majority of books written and commercially available on the issue of Americans expatriating to Mexico will sugar-coat everything from how the locals will perceive you, info on cost-of-living, and will try to give you the impression that moving to Mexico is like moving into a Paradise. We endeavor to tell the truth: Mexico is not a paradise it is a country. And, in this country you will find a diversity almost as vast as the U.S. complete with those who love Gringos and those who hate them. You will find things which you like and will adapt to quickly. You will also find things to which you will never be able to accept. That's life here.My motive for writing the books on this website is that the info available in commercial form, whether online or in print, pretty much reveal a Concept of Mexico and not the Reality of Mexico. They will make you think you will find no evil in this paradisaical land of milk and honey. They will make you think you can live like King Solomon will all these adoring and worshipful servants who have been waiting all their lives for you to arrive and save them from their horrible third-world existence.
I hope what you find in this website is not just refreshing but will drastically alter your idea of what living in Mexico is all about.

Description:
Gringo Notes From South of the Border: To sum it up as concisely as possible, more than 99% of the Americans who move to Mexican do so based on Mexico as a Concept and not Mexico as a Reality. My book attacks and dispels the false and infatuated concept potential American Expats have about Mexico and will instills a reality based picture of what life as an American in Mexico is actually like. My book presents the reality of what life is like in Mexico for the American thinking about moving to here for whatever reason. No REALITY BASED how-to guide exists for moving to towns in Central Mexico—an experience vastly different from moving to and living in the traditional gringo enclaves of Puerto Vallarta, San Miguel de Allende, and others. My book provides a guide NOT to Mexico as a Concept but to Mexico as a Reality.
Find out the unique and sometimes baffling differences of what it's like to live in Central Mexico. Expatriating to Mexico's Heartland is as different as someone in New York or Los Angeles moving to Kansas City--America's Heartland!
